I have a three D cell light with a serial number 31912780 with the 'patented made in u.s.a.' Looking for advice on switch replacement. Old switch out, had metal screw-in ring. Thanks DD Douglas. Where is the serial number on a maglite flash light? I want to register my maglite but i cant fing the serial number.
Can date of manuf. be determined by the serial # on a Maglite, and do folks even concern themselves with that?
New guy here, from West Virginia. Great forum, folks. I stumbled onto it while looking for LED upgrades for my four old 2D and 3D incan Mags, after just getting a new 3D Mag LED.
Ive been reading the FAQs and threads of interest for 2 days now. Seems like some friendly knowledgable folks here. I can sure see a hot rodded Mag in my near future.
I'm on many other forums, and have met some great folks. I didn't even know this world existed !! I love it, but I know it's gonna cost me some $$.

Located in Ontario, California, and founded by Anthony Maglica.It was introduced in 1979. Constructed principally of anodized 6061 aluminum, they have a variable-focus beam.Maglites are produced in several colors such as black, silver, blue, red, green. My serial number begins with 'DL' followed by a series of numbers but this replacement switch will not fit.
